Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions apply to most of Anna Celeste Watson's projects:

Prices and Quotations

1. All prices are given in GBP (Pounds Sterling).
2. All prices quoted are valid for three months from the date quoted in the Quotation or Proposal.
3. Anna Celeste Watson has the right to change hourly rates etc without notice but will inform her existing clients before proceeding with any work outside of any agreed Quotations or Proposals.
4. Anna Celeste Watson offers a 10% ethical discount to voluntary and/or charitable organisations, as well as to members of the Vegan Society and ethical businesses that promote cruelty-free or alternative living that benefits people, animals and/or the environment.
   Discounts are offered only at Anna Celeste Watson's own discretion. Anna Celeste Watson reserves the right to change details or withdraw any discounts without prior notice.

Invoices and Payments

1. A deposit of at least 50% of the total project cost is required.
2. Once the deposit has been received, then both Anna Celeste Watson and the client are under contract to complete the work within a reasonable timescale. However Anna Celeste Watson has the right to subcontract work out if necessary, for example due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. Anna Celeste Watson reserves the right to refrain from starting any agreed work until the requested deposit has been received and the funds cleared in her bank if necessary.
4. Once the concept design has been approved, any further or major changes to either the design or functionality (including any additional pages not agreed upon in the Final Proposal) may be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Anna Celeste Watson and added to the final invoice.
5. Any additional time or costs incurred to Anna Celeste Watson including searching for and purchasing images, setting-up email accounts and purchasing domains etc, may also be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Anna Celeste Watson and added to the final invoice.
6. Once the agreed work is completed and the site is put live – even if for any reason the site is not requested to go live within one week from completion of the agreed work – the remainder of the payment will be due within a calendar month from the date of the final invoice, unless otherwise agreed.

Client Delays and Unpaid Invoices

1. If Anna Celeste Watson is kept waiting for over 3 months without receiving any content in order to proceed with or complete any agreed work, then she reserves the right to charge for the remaining payment or at least part of the remaining payment, unless otherwise agreed and/or Anna Celeste Watson is kept informed of any reasons for the delay. Any changes needed on the site resulting from a long delay in the client providing content may be charged at additional costs at the discretion of Anna Celeste Watson.
2. If the final invoice for the remaining payment is not paid within the agreed time than Anna Celeste Watson reserves the right to charge a minimum of 1% interest for each day the payment is overdue, at Anna Celeste Watson's own discretion.
3. In extreme circumstances, Anna Celeste Watson reserves the right to take the site offline if the final invoice for the remaining payment is not paid within the agreed time, and may only put the site live again once the payment is received and the funds cleared in her bank if necessary, unless otherwise agreed.

Timescales and Deadlines

1. Anna Celeste Watson aims to complete all agreed work, unless otherwise arranged at any stage during the project. Anna Celeste Watson aims to complete the work within any agreed timescales or deadlines and the client will be informed if for any reason there are any delays in completing the work.

Subcontracted Work

1. Anna Celeste Watson does NOT subcontract out any Web Design work to any other Web Designers and all design work is completely bespoke. However, she does occasionally subcontract work to Associate Illustrators, Print Designers and Web Developers where necessary and usually keeps the client informed if this is the case.
2. Large amounts of subcontracted work such as Web Development work for Content Managed Sites and Online Payment Systems are usually invoiced directly from the Associate Company or Freelancer and NOT from Anna Celeste Watson. Anna Celeste Watson therefore cannot be held responsible for work that is delayed or uncompleted by subcontractors but will of course endeavor to do everything possible to help the client to fulfil the project.
3. Other related services such as Hosting and Search Engine Optimisation can be arranged but is not under the management of Anna Celeste Watson.

Privacy Statement

1. Any information users provide is solely to enable Anna Celeste Watson to process your enquiry or project and provide a high level of service. The information concerning you will be accurate and up to date and will be held in accordance with the law. If you find any inaccuracies she will delete or correct it promptly.
2. Anna Celeste Watson agrees NOT to pass your details on to any other person or organisation of any kind without your permission or request to do so, except to relevant Associates IF necessary.
